报告题目:Stability Improvement of Metal Halide Perovskite from Materials to Devices

报告人:朱宗龙博士,助理教授,香港城市大学

报告时间:201977日(周日)上午10:30

报告地点:化学院1号会议室

邀请人:李忠安教授

报告简介:

Recently, perovskite based photoelectric devices have developed rapidly and become the rising star in the photoelectric field. Compared with traditional silicon solar cells, the preparation process of perovskite solar cells (PSCs) is simple and low-cost, and the photoelectric conversion efficiency (PCE) has reached 23.7%, showing a great potential for industrial application. However, the key problem restricting its development is the instability of perovskite materials under sensitive environment and device working conditions. Here, we will give a broad introduction of our research work in the stability study on metal halide perovskites and fabricated solar cells.

报告人简介:

Dr. Zhu obtained his B.S. degree (Chemistry) in 2010 from Nanjing University (China). In 2015, he earned his Ph.D. degree in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Then he moved to the department of materials science and engineering in University of Washington, Seattle and worked as a postdoctoral fellow. Dr. Zhu joined the City University of Hong Kong as an Assistant Professor in June 2018. Dr Zhu has published 50 Journal papers with average impact factor >10, including 24 papers as first/ co-first/ corresponding author published on: Joule, J. Am. Chem. Soc, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater. Adv. Energy Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater. etc. His research mainly focuses on the design inorganic/organic materials, as well connecting the materials synthesis, physical properties and device performance for optoelectronics application. The current application interests include solar cells, transistors, light-emitting diodes, and electrochemical devices (e.g. batteries, supercapacitors).
